The method of payment is selected by the payee who is asking for money. BOPP offers the following types of payment requests:

- Paylinks (where the person asking to be paid sends the Paylink via email or messenger app
- QR code (where the person asking to be paid generates a QR code for the person paying to scan. The payer can use the BOPP app or their own camera to scan the QR code).
- Entering the numeric code you received from the payee
