Why are certain payments delayed?

Nearly all UK banks execute the BOPP instruction using Faster Payments which usually takes place within seconds of confirmation.  However, it is possible that some banks may batch (or group) some payment instructions together for processing (e.g. with peak volumes) or may delay making payment for other bank specific operational reasons.

Unfortunately, we cannot control when exactly your bank executes the payment. It usually arrives in the payee account within seconds but on occasion it may take longer.
